Lotte Fine Chemicals – T E R M I D O R

Lotte Fine Chemicals is a part of the Korean conglomerate Lotte Corp. They produce cellulose derivatives of the type of HPMC (Hydroxy Propyl Methyl Cellulose), HEMC (Hydroxy Ethyl Methyl Cellulose) and HEC (Hydroxy Ethyl Cellulose). The products are sold under the brands Mecellose (MC) and Hecellose (HEC). Lotte Fine Chemicals recently bought Samsung Fine Chemicals.

Applications include e.g. fillers, tile adhesives, sealants, plasters and paints. Manufacturing and product development takes place in South Korea, where customized products can be offered.

For the pharmaceutical industry Hypromellose (AnyCoat-C) and Hypromellose Phthalate (AnyCoat-P) are available. These are used for tablet coatings, capsules in premix etc.
